PHONE BOOK
This table makes it possible to create or modify the names of the network users. Entering phone book data is also accessible from the STATION, ATTENDANT AND LOCAL ABBREVIATED NUMBERS tables.
The station number, the last name, the first name are to be filled in following the same rules as for the creation/modification of user stations.
Directory Number
Directory Number
The phone book number of the station consists of the characters 0 to 9, *, and # (possibly characters A to D).
Alias No.
This attribute enables the management of several supplementary names for a user directory number or an abbreviated number. These supplementary names are called aliases (They enable a directory number to be shared between several people).
Directory name
Directory First Name
These 2 attributes of 20 characters identify the set opposite the external directory application (47XX directory application).
WARNING :
The entry of the directory name (20 characters) and the directory first name (20 characters) enables the automatic entry of the attributes directory name for call by name (12 characters) and directory first name for call by name (8 characters) and vice versa, although these attributes can be managed separately. Given the difference in length, the endings of the name and first name can be shortened in the copy if they are too long.
UTF-8 Directory Name
UTF-8 Directory First Name
This name and first name are used to fill the user display name on 8&9 series sets. The user displayed name is filled with this "UTF-8 Directory Name" and "UTF-8 Directory First Name" truncated to 30 characters. It can be filled with not Latin characters (with 4760/4760i) and allows to extend the display name length (at least 25 characters long). This user displayed name is displayed in telephonic screen, in INFO page and will be transmitted in ABC-F network. The UTF8 names can be used for call by name on 8&9 Series.
