V24 PORT
The V24 ports makes it possible the access to CPU applications:
This table makes it possible to define:

Port
V24 port on which the "Info Center" PC is connected:

V24 No.
Physical port
Name of the remote v24 port for the moxattyd daemon
(parameter cannot be modified)

RTS/CTS protocol
YES: V24 port uses the RTS/CTS protocol (DPE/PAE - request to send/Clear to send)

XON/XOFF protocol
This attribute only exists for the V24 ports of the remote units.
It is used to place a soft flow control mechanism on the remote v24 ports.
(The hard control flow mechanism is deleted).

Dynamic
NO: the port is declared in static use (terminal or modem (remote maintenance) directly connected to the port).
YES: the port is declared in dynamic use

TA Directory No.
The attribute is used if Dynamic V24=True
The TA Number (Terminal adaptor) is the call number of the TA adaptor connected to this dynamic V24 port.
A subscriber which dials a DATA application is connected via this TA. If several ports are declared dynamic, the subscriber is connected to the first free TA number the system finds.
The attribute contains from 1 to 8 digits or characters corresponding to the dialing keypad of the sets (0 to 9, *, #). Characters A to D may possibly be used.

Transmission speed
Remote v24 box transmission speed
Parity
Data bits
Stop Bit
The format is programmed according to the terminal or the link connected to the V24 socket:

Default is Even parity, 7 Data bits, and one Stop bit.

Terminal Type
Types of terminals used with this V24 socket:

V24 Application
Types of applications used on this V24 socket:

Parameters
Certain applications need additional parameters:

Port Dir.No (Static)
This attribute is used by ports io2tty0115 to 30 declared as static; it makes it possible to declare a fixed directory number for each of these ports (opposed to CPU or SPB dynamic ports which have a TA number).
In this case, a user which dials this number will be connected to this V24 port hence the associated CPU application.
For static ports io2tty01 to 30, the parameters of the type of V24 application must be set (Type different from without) and Protocol RTS/CTS must be NO.
The attribute consists of the 1 to 8 digits or characters marked on the dialing keypad of sets (0 to 9, *,#). The characters A to D might be used.
