Could be the following:
Check mgr/Trunk Group/ parameter "Overlap dialing=NO". This parameter did not exist in R4.2

If you are using telnet from you PC, that is what usually happens. Try to telneton port 143 from PCX, or telnet to IMAP server on port 23, then telnet to port 143.

I believe with ARS if call went second route (tgrp2) due to first route (tgrp1) all busy or out of service, in 4760 trunk report it will be marked as failed on a tgrp1.
I wonder if "overflow" column is for the calls which used overflow tgrp configured on a trunk level.
