Re: OXO Connect with Opera PMS

Hi,
OLD cannot talk straight with OPERA ( or actually IFC8, which is the interface computer software OPERA uses for communication ).
You need to install a protocol converter between OLD and IFC8, acting as a middleware.
SourceTech Extend is such a middleware and this setup is pretty common.

Re: Opera cloud PMS with OXO Connect R5.0

Like so: [OXO] <--web svc --> [OLD] <-- AHL--> [Extend] <-- FIAS --> [IFC8] <--> [OPERA Cloud/OnPrem] OLD = Office Link Driver AHL = Alcatel Hotel Link Extend = SourceTech Extend middleware FIAS = Fidelio Interface Application Specification IFC8 = Interface Computer It's TCP/IP all the way btw /Bjarne

4059EE + Stream Deck = true

Hi there, Just letting you all know about our latest feature in 4059EE; the Stream Deck keyboard support! Stream Deck is a programmable keyboard with up to 32 keys from Elgato/Corsair. You can use this for 4059EE call handling and much much more, quite cool if you ask me. https://www.sourcetech.se/e...

Re: Binding card 4059 IP

Hello, This is a known problem where abcacom.exe tries to fetch the network adapter's mac-address, but incorrectly gets the BT's adapters instead. This results in an empty mac-address as BT' adapters don't have a MAC address. This in turn result in an invalid tftp request, which result in a L3Open i...

Re: 4059IP gives L3 open error while oxe connected behind firewall and DMZ switch

Hi there, Abcacom (which handles all OXE/Abc-a traffic ) first need to ask OXE on which udp port to listen for inbound abc-a messages. In order to do this TFTP is used, where a "file" (not really a physical file...) is downloaded containing only the port number ( OXE Base Port + 8 ) OXE Ba...

Re: 4059EE Attendant IP Duplicate

Each application, EE/Softphone/..., appends a unique identifier (=byte) to the macaddress letting oxe determine which application it is.
This ”mac address” is sent in the initial tftp request.
So there isnt a conflict. I guess ippstat hides the unique byte causing confusion.

Re: 4059EE IP Attendant Bad device

Hi there,

”Configuration Error! Bad Device” indicates that the device/macaddress is already allocated to another running EE.
If the problem persist, clear the mac-address manually.

”SS_SBC_EXTENDED:E_C_INI_MAX_ASSOC.” indicates that there is max amount of EE’s running, check OXE license.

Re: 4059IP USB Keyboard REDIAL KEY not working in 4059EE software.

Check system settings => pcx connection => prefixes => Internal number length and trunk seizure.
Internal number length must not be set to zero.
Apart from the settings above, there must obviously be an outbound call in the phone list to dial and the EE signed in,

GPA - Flash card

Hi dudes n dudettes. Is there a way to format/set up a standard flash memory to be used in a GPA for dynamic voice guide storage? (The voice guides recorded from std phones) I have a CompactFlash (FAT32) card and a PCMCIA adapter I'm fiddling with, but can't seem to get it to work. RocknRoll /Bjarne
