I have been receiving snmp traps about cpu crossing above threshold. I am looking for ideas on where to start looking into this. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Removing the avlan files cleared the low flash error. It feels like there is still more memory being used than there should be. Like there is a hidden file or a memory problem. low flash error
I have a switch that keeps displaying a low flash error.
I dont see any dump files. I am not sure what else to look for.
this switch is not in production. Is there a way to clear it out and start from scratch?

All the IP address are made up to protect the innocent. This is all thery I dont have an actuall configuration file. I could setup a lab if neccessary. We just instituted a new core switch and we are looking for ways to make things more efficient. We have a few subnets example 10.100.0.0/16, 10.101....

I gave up on FreeBsd for the moment and installed Ubuntu Server. I was able to then install the minicom package and I am up and running. I will go back to FreeBsd once I get more familiar with Linux.
