Re: 802.1x and PXE boot

Hello Cedric, I haven't traced the issue with wireshark so I cann't say if there is any 802.1x communication. Regarding your other question. I've tested this and it doesn't seem to be an issue. When nobody is logged on the systems stays connected based on the computer name. When someone logs in the ...

Re: ICC with E75

Hello sherif,

Are you running the E75 in WLAN mode or in GSM mode?

I've setup my E75 succesfully in both GSM and WLAN mode with some minor changes in the config which I also used for the E61i. There are some new features available in the latest version.

Regards,

Rens

Re: 802.1x and PXE boot

Hello Cedric (and the rest) I've configured the access guardian to first use 802.1x and second mac authentication. After the systems startup mac authentication is used to run the pxe boot. When this is finished windows starts. After a while, I think when the 802.1x client is started, the mac authent...

Re: ACE with SIP extension

Hello cavagnaro, The documentation hasn't been released, as far as I know, in a technical communication but you can find it in the knowledgebase. When you have opened the knowledgebase go to: Browse > Theme / Feature OmniMobility + ACE / My Cellular Extension + Configuration procedure There you'll f...

802.1x and PXE boot

Hello everyone, Currently I'm working on a network deployment where they want to use 802.1x to authenticate the network devices and I could use your help with this. The access guardian feature with it’s 802.1x and MAC authentications works great on the 6850 and 6400 switches. But now the catch. They...

Re: ACE with SIP extension

Hello cavagnaro, I've setup the ACE client in our demonstration room with the Nokia E75. The setup for one user consists of the following: 1) An user which is a remote extension and one user which is a SIP device. The remote extension user needs to be a DID number. For the SIP device user I used the...

Re: External Music-On-Hold

Hello jbower, I've never seen MOH connected to the 4635. But I know of two other ways to connect MOH to crystal hardware. The first is connecting it to the MOH on the CPU, this will be needed to be done though the Main distribution Frame. Or the second, any I think, easyest way is by connecting the ...

Re: Access Guardian and captive portal on the 6850 switches

Hello Cedric1, As an add on to the last post. I've used an account which has Remote Access Permission set to Deny Access. Thisway I'm able to log into the computer and the switch deny's me access. When I use this account I get the Captive portal as configured. Now I can gain access to the network by...

Re: Access Guardian and captive portal on the 6850 switches

Hello,

Currently I'm using the windows logon client which logs me into the network the same time as the windows logon. So when I enter wrong credentials windows already deny's me access.

I'm currently not in the position to test this in the lab.

Regards,

Rens
