Re: Multicast Imaging
Hello Andrew and Silvio, @Andrew, Did the commands mentioned by Silvo solve your issue? @Silvo, Do you know what do the commands "ip multicast querier-forwarding enable" and "ip multicast querying enable" do with the igmp packets? What I've seen so far is that when multicast stat...

Re: Omnivista client Network Discovery
Hi Mhunter1993, I've done some trouble shooting together with Alcatel-Lucent. We found that not only the client initiates a connection to the server but also the server initiating a connection towards the client. So any firewall's, nat devices or windows firewalls could be a potential issue. Hopeful...

Omnivista client Network Discovery
Hello, I've been trying to install Omnivista 2500 4.1.2.R03 but unfortunately it's not working for me as it should. When I open the network discovery locally on the machine I get an popup of a java applet to download and run. This works fine. But when I do this from a client I first get an empty pag...

Re: qos default bridged / routed disposition accept / deny
Hello Silvio, Thanks for your reply. In my case I have about 10 different VLAN's in which clients should be able to talk to each other but not to other clients in different vlan's. Except for some servers, which do need to access some particular clients in the other vlan's. If I hadn't had the serve...

Re: phone identifier for ip desktop softphone
Installing the software as an agent softphone will at least make sure each different user who logs on to the workstation gets assignd the same mac address. That's the only thing I managed to find. Logging the user in to another workstation will result in a different mac address for the same user but...

Re: LACP Aggregate Down between OAS-6000 and 6860
Hello Cedric, The interfaces themselves don't go down, they simply leave and join the linkagg. We started with "linkagg lacp port 1/1 actor admin-state active", which then gave the issue. Then we used "linkagg lacp port 1/1 actor admin-state timeout" which still didn't work. Obvi...

LACP Aggregate Down between OAS-6000 and 6860
Hello Anyone experience with connecting a OAW-6000 via LACP to an 6860 stack of switches? Somehow the different interfaces leave the LACP agg for a short while, sometimes at the same time like today: Nov 2 09:48:15 NLAMS-1105AT-SW01 swlogd: linkAggNi main info(5) LACP Link 4 -> 2 is OUT_OF_SYNC agg=...

Re: OpenTouch Automated Attendant (AA)
The OXE and the OpenTouch part both have their own Music On Hold files. In the otbe2.1_im_InstalManual_8AL90504USAF_1_en.pdf paragraph 13.7 you can find 13.7 Configuring music on hold Music on Hold (MOH) uses wav files to provide music for callers waiting to be connected. The music on hold can be cu...
