Enable SSHv2

Hi all, I'm wondering if someone could help me. I'm trying to enable SSHv2 on OXE R12.3 and found in the forum a way to first generate OXE host keys for both CPU's and then generate custom keys on the Main and then you can use the oxe-copy-ssh-id command which works OK. Once this is done I activate ...

Re: Internal ARS

Thanks for everyone's response. I've told the customer to use a leading 1 before the number and will use speed dials by range from now on. I've spoken with L3 Tech support and I do not think it can be done how we want it. They still require "External" when dialling out so unfortunately we ...

Re: Internal ARS

Actually sorry, local short dialling will not work with what we want. As this is essentially a group of "sites" on one system with the same numbers we need to use ARS to insert digits depending on the entity of the user. Eg User in entity 1 dials 1000 Discriminator of entity goes to real d...

Re: Internal ARS

Just been playing on my demo switch and I think we can use short dialling prefix. I'm going to test configure this on site and will let you know how I get on! Thanks

Re: Internal ARS

We are using it as some of the numbers which are dialled are 4 digits and some are 5 digits, the same reason I'm unable to use speed dial ranges. If you can still use local short code dialling for this I will check it out. Thanks

Internal ARS

Hi fellow Alcatel engineers, I am having a frustrating issue using internal ARS routing. We are using ARS to insert digits to dial internal extension numbers. For example the end customer is dialling 8000 with the actual full number dialled is 7778000 for example. The reason is we are having more th...

Re: SIP 404 Message on Outbound Faxes

Hi Sadim, Thats correct, all the parameters match in the external gateway and the Fax Server. In the latest OXE release you have to use TCP and not UDP as the Oxe will reject the outgoing fax, which it does. The Ext Gway 1 is to the OT and is by FQDN and the Fax Server its to the OT IP address, this...

Re: SIP 404 Message on Outbound Faxes

Hi Sadim,
In the SIP settings under "Driver" the local SIP UDP and TCP were 5360. I did change the port in the peer list and tested it but it didnt even reach the OXE on the SIP trace.

Re: SIP 404 Message on Outbound Faxes

Hi Still having issues even after a SIP motor restart. I have compared this to a working fax server and can see that the working uses the correct External Gateway which was set up for the fax server but the one I am having trouble with uses the External Gateway for the OT and not the Fax Server. Wor...

Re: SIP 404 Message on Outbound Faxes

Also the Ext SIP GW 1 is the OpenTouch. the SIP EXT GW 4 is the Fax Server integrated into the OT. The remote domain in Gway1 to OT is the FQDN of the OT and the Fax Server it is the IP address of the OT. This is programmed as per the TC.

Thanks
