Re: Secure SSH access to 7210 SAS-S

Telnet server is disabled by default and SSH server is enabled. You can check with A:switch# show system information | match SSH Tel/Tel6/SSH/FTP Admin : Disabled/Disabled/Enabled/Disabled Tel/Tel6/SSH/FTP Oper : Down/Down/Up/Down and show system connections | match LISTEN Commands to enable/disable...

Re: symbol _ to as-path expression alcatel 7750

There are some extra spaces in your example but assuming you want to match an as-path where the first AS must be 77500 and then zero or 1 ASNs after that: as-path "FOO" expression "77500 .{0,1}" The regular expression syntax is documented here: https://infocenter.nokia.com/public/7750SR160R4A/index....

Re: iom3-xp-c throuput

Yes you can do that but you need to be careful with your redundancy. Each SF/CPM-3 provides 50Gb/slot of switching capacity. 4x10Gbs x 3 across two cards means each IMM needs to support 60Gbps. So you need to have both SF/CPM-3 cards working. If one fails, you will be down to 50Gb/s of fabric capaci...

Re: iom3-xp-c throuput

You can use that card with SF/CPM-3 and running R10.

You can think of an IMM as like an IOM where the MDAs are fixed so they can't be removed. IMMs still have virtual MDAs.

Re: iom3-xp-c throuput

That card is an FP2-based one and has 100Gb/s of fabric links so it's oversubscribed. You can use it with a SF/CPM-3. If you want to use IMMs that have the FP3 network processor, they are not officially supported with the SF/CPM-3 when running SR OS R12 or above. There is a 12x10GE FP3 based IMM if ...

Re: iom3-xp-c throuput

There is a 6x40GE IMM and a 3x40GE IMM.
There is also a 3-port 40GE + 20-port GE SFP combo IMM.

If you have the release notes for the software you are running, there is a hardware compatibility section which lists everything.

Re: iom3-xp-c throuput

That's correct, each MDA can support a maximum of 25Gb/s of throughput due to the speed of the XPL bus between the MDA and the IOM.

Re: 7750 SR-1 as a BNG question

You don't need necessarily an ISA for BNG. Unless as part of the service you need to do NAT/IPSec tunnel termination/LNS etc. For things like regular termination of PPPoE subscribers it's not needed. I don't believe there is an ISA card for the MDA-e-XP slots of an SR-1. It's then a matter of you un...

Re: 7750 SR Service MIBs

Depends what specifically you're looking for.
In general, a mixture of the TIMETRA-SERV-MIB, TIMETRA-SAP-MIB and TIMETRA-SDP-MIB.
