Re: OXO Slowdown

The problem is that SIP only provides basic functionality. For instance we need to use the directory and to be able to transfer or park calls. Basic SIP licenses in alcatel do not provide this functionality. Therefore teh only option we have is to buy the alcatel equipment, which to my mind is ridic...

Re: OXO Slowdown

THanks again for all your help. Re: OXO Slowdown

Ok i just spoke to the alcatel guy and he says our unit doesnt have an HDD but it has flashed SD. He is saying that we format the RAM install the OXO software from scratch and then reprogram the whole thing. He thinks the database might have become corrupt. Does this sound like a possibility?

Re: OXO Slowdown

I agree, but its not my call! Im trying to get them to move to an asterix system, but penny wise pound foolish. I didnt mean to sound offensive. I do all the IT stuff, and Alcatel PBX is not really my thing, but im learning as i go. Any other ideas where to look? I dont really think the expert docum...

Re: OXO Slowdown

Before i try this, as i know the "experts" will charge us a small fortune, is there anyway to see logs or run some diagnostics to test if this is the case? I sshed into the PBX a few years back, so i will have to look into that again. However when i go the the webapp services and look at t...

Re: OXO Slowdown

on local phones too. There are probably 20 old reflex phones and 3 ip phones, two remote phones are IP phones and the main one at the head office is an IP phone. It reminds me of when a computer is stuck on a memory loop and slowly uses up all the resources eventually bringing everything to a grindi...
