Re: Config Conversion tool

You can use the context keyword after you have piped the output - this can show you specific info from the config file as per above: admin display-config | match "text string" context all info | match "text string" context all This is then akin to the old IOS "section" command following a pipe and w...

Re: What port Physical is Command PING

Hi, There are a number of parts to this. I am guessing you are asking about physical port instead of next hop/interface as you have a lag or similar and want to know which physical port in the lag your ICMP packet is egressing. This is more difficult than replacing the ping with a treaceroute, setti...

Re: ISA-MS Hardware throughput

Hi, You can have up to 7 to give you up to 70G, it is stated in the same document. The MS-ISA is field replaceable and supports hot insertion and removal. See Figure 1. A system can support up to seven active AA MS-ISA cards providing up to 70 G of processing capacity (a system with seven active ISA...

Re: VPLS with SDP "up down"

Hi ok, the configs you pasted still have sr-ospf, so don;t think they are the up to date ones. But good news that the SDP is up. NOw can you check: show service id 111 base show service id 111 sdp 22 (detail) If all looks good, you can check a packet across it without using your own kit, though no r...

Re: VPLS with SDP "up down"

Are you intending to use OSPF segment-routing instead of LDP for the transport tunnel? Assuming so, if not, just remove this from the SDP config (sr-ospf) and replace with ldp (if you have LDP interface enabled that is).

Re: 7750SR Ospf help

Hi, You will need to configure a route-policy that looks like the following: config router policy-options begin policy-statement ospf-export entry 10 from protocol static to protocol ospf action accept exit exit commit Then apply this to the ospf routing instance AND enable the instance as an asbr -...

Re: 7210 SAS-T VLAN and dot1q Configuration

Hi, Yes it's a service based switch, but it should definitely be able to do what you need. For multiport VLANs etc., you can configure a VPLS, or for a simple port to port VLAN, you can use an epipe.. But on Nokia there are several things you need to do first: Configure the port as an access port an...
