Re: AS-Override in MPLS L3VPN can't ping

Hi,

But at the far end, ie at the device with 10.12.75.254, does it have a valid route back to 10.202.124.85?

Can you try a traceroute and see how far it gets also.

Cheers

Re: Cisco ISIS Neighbor Init State

HI,

it's also worth sharing the configs you have at each end along with info on the interfaces. Although ISIS is not an IP protocol, is ping successful between the interfaces?

Have you set the NET on the Cisco, as it won't even start ISIS until it has this.

Cheers

Re: Redistribute In 7750 - problem

Hi, This is more of a design than a problem as such :-) But yes, you will need policy. Have you tried any form of policy as yet? Some key aspects: configure router policy-options begin policy-statement xxx-yyy create entry 10 create from protocol xxx to protocol yyy action accept etc etc then under ...

Re: AS-Override in MPLS L3VPN can't ping

Hi,

Assume you are trying to ping a destination learnt via the BGP peering. Are you pinging from a source address that is known about at the destination?

If so, can you share some output here please, ie show router xxx route-table, show router xxx interface, ping router xxx source yyyy

Re: See route in BGP table but not in routing-table

Hi, A few more commands would help here to understand. One point to note, in the above output, the 65009:1525 shown alongside the BGP prefix is the route-distinguisher and not the route-target community. Though these are often the same, you will need to confirm on the actual route whether it has the...

Re: Create 3vlan on the same interface

Hi Mark, This sounds like a proper design piece of work needs doing. Some things to consider: The interfaces facing the VLANs will be access interfaces. For these you will need to create sap-ingress and egress policies and then reference these under the sap configuration under the service. These can...

HI Mark,

Please share the config you have applied already and what you are trying to apply, that will really help.

Many thanks

Re: Create 3vlan on the same interface

Hi Mark, Can you explain what you want to do with the 3 VLANs? Ie are they to be connected to each just locally, or sent back across the network? Are they intended to remain separate from each other? Think you will need a VPLS service, but just need to know how you intend to use. First thing to do i...

Re: No Ping End to End on VPLS

Other bit to try is the oam commands. From terminal type oam and then you will get a whole host of options. Best one in your case is to do Oam cpe-ping service xxxx destination x.x.x.X source X.x.X.y You should try this to both IPS from both ends. Just use a spare address in same subnet as source ad...
