Re: omnivista 8770 "cannot connect to server"
Hello, maybe the 8770 services on the 8770 server are not started properly. Check if you find several services on your Windows machine which starting with NMC in the name (16 all together). Maybe just a simple reboot of the server helps then or you can restart the service named NMC Service Manager. ...

Re: Virtualized OTMS and Physical FlexLM
Hello,
isn't there a special process to obtain a dongleless license for OT?
Sure, I think this one has a validity time and needs to be replaced from time to time but pick your poison.

Re: 8770-DOC-ldap
Hello, I think the best place to have a look is the 8770 admin manual. It contains a chapter about the company directory. In the latest version, this can be found in chapter 12 if you have Business Portal access (document ID 8AL90703USAI Ed. 01). If you do not have any access to BP, I found at least...

Re: OmniVista 8770 Adminnmc password
Hello,
on 8770, you can use ToolsOmniVista.exe. It is located in folder 8770\bin on the server. You need to login with Directory Manager password, it is stopping the services of 8770 but in the underlying menu, you can change the adminnmc password.
