Hi all, just a request to explain to me: Setting : Network with 6450 Switches which end to 6900 devices and the 6900 are connected to a Cisco Router which should be root for SPT. just say - 20 vlans per Switch are existing. So what happens in Default Setting when i connect a patch cable in one stack...

Hi all, sorry didn´t find in search. How can i describe a port like in cisco? as i use : interfaces 1/1 alias "text" i get no error but when i do Show alias : Error : No alias defined? and i cant see where my text . thanks a lot for help @ edit .. seems the above is only working with 6900....

thanks. Think there is a General issue. As i know have to configure something and put it on the switch ..also no ip except the device get an address from dhcp. So i think we should reboot the stack and look if its cleared.
Or have you another suggest before reboot?

Hi all , found an issue while changing Access Points. On the affected Switch (5 Stack) 6450 i can´t see the mac-adresses from the new Access Points. I can found it on the router and the Uplink one Switch before and after via UPLINK. So they are definetely there. Also the new Access Points work fine ...

thanks a lot... but just for understanding - is there everything stored in the boot.cfg? Such as vlan Settings, snmp,name etc?
