Re: Cacti and Linkagg monitorin for 6400 and 6850 switches

Hi Karl,

the oids for linkaggs are presents in the MIBs not the counters stay to zero.... If you need to monitoring a linkagg, you have to monitor the physical interfaces. For Cisco switches, Linkaggs (named PortChannels) can be add in the monitoring, counters are correct.

Re: VLAN Question

Hi! It totally makes sense, the network 172.16.1.0/20 is hosted on the firewall or is available through routing? What firewall are you using? You may have a antispoofing issue on the firewall since the network 172.16.10.0/24 is inside 172.16.1.0/20 and is supposed to come from another interface than...

Re: native vlan

Hi Giacomo, I totally agree with devnull, it's better to keep vlan numbers consistent between switches. You might see strange things as LLDP remote-system information, because the vlan can be sent in the TLV, therefore you'll see both neighbors talking to each other but on different vlan: Remote LLD...

Re: cannot SSH or Console onto the 6900 switch

Hi!

We faced same issues with 7.3.4.204_R02 in the past on several 6900s, since the upgrade to 7.3.4.310 never seen this issue again.

Best regards

Re: Seeking the SNMP OID's for...

Hi Cesar,

this oid refers to a TRAP named alaDSTrap:

alaDoSTrap 1.3.6.1.4.1.6486.801.1.2.1.23.1.0.1
-> The DoS trap indicates that the sending agent has received DoS attack

Best regards

Re: Is there discarded packets counter ?

Hi!, below the OIDs for the interface statistics, depending if you use 32bits or 64bits counters: SNMPFilters32 = {'Ingresserrors':'.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14', \ 'Ingressdiscards':'.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13', \ 'IngressBytes':'.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10', \ 'IngressUcastPkts':'.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.11', \ 'IngressN...
