Well I believe I have answered my own question as right on the first page of the 8.10.R1 release it says "Note: The OS6900-T20/T40/X20/X40/X72/Q32 models are no longer being supported starting with AOS Release 8.10R1. AOS Release 8.9R4 is that last release with support for these models."

OS6900-X72 wont upgrade to 8.10

I got a OS6900-X72 and we trying to upgrade to the latest 8.10.93 R03 and it didnt upgrade it. Still sitting on 8.9.94 R04. Only thing Im noticing that seems off is the original image file was named Tos.img in running, and the firmware upgrade download for 8.10.93 R03 shows its called Yos.img. This ...
