Can you try to enable this on ALU switch :

bridge mode 1x1 pvst+ enable

And be sure to be in PVST+ on your Cisco

I have no experience with 10K and MC-LAG, but did you try to make a simple config with a lacp on on switch only.

If it is ok, MC-lag should be transparent to your hp system
