yes, indeed best you've a backup. if not... in case of oxe take the hardisk to a normal pc and connect it to the ide-bus (or better ide to usb connector). i prefer linux on this pc. but you can also use a windows with "linuxreader". in case of an oxo... because of the encryption of the fil...

you have to buy imap licence for your 4645. after this (and a short configuration in the 4645 vmClass) you can use any email client that works with imap-mailboxes.
