This might be due because the R100.1 latest patch brings 4645 voicemail to email (not IMAP), therefore the system needs a fqdn to connect to a mail server.

4760 is the old software to manage the OmniPCX, later called OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE).

Good call.. I thought when he wrote "monitored by a software" that it had to be a 3rd party using SNMP traps.
