Z32 board OUT OF SERVICE

Post by jono80 » 13 Aug 2018 21:56

Hi All,

We have a Z32 board that's showing OUT OF SERVICE, we have tried re-seating it in the slot, is there another command I can run to try and bring it back in service? I've tried 'rstcpl 0 14' but it doesn't change the status. I'm not sure if 'inserv' is the right command, I'm not sure of the syntax:

Code: Select all

(1)PABX_A> rstcpl 0 14
(1)PABX_A> inserv 0 14

Usage : inserv <n neqt-number (0-2987)>
        inserv <d directory-number [1..8]>
        inserv <p crist-nb cpl-nb acces|us-nb term-nb>
        inserv <p crist-nb cpl-nb acces|us-nb a for all

(1)PABX_A> config all

Are there any further diagnostic commands that would be useful in checking the card / slot to see if it's faulty?

I was going to try powering the whole lot down and back up again (after shutdown). Would appreciate any suggestions before I try the usual IT fix of turning it off and on again.

If that doesn't work i'll try it in another slot (I have some reading up to do - no doubt the connector will have to move with the card, along with some configuration).

Thanks,

Jono

That's a good suggestion! Just tried this and the fault goes with the card. Tried a shutdown / power cycle as well, the card still won't come up. So that pretty much confirms it - faulty Z32 card.

Thanks for the help oldboy.
