INT_IP3 Crystal number address wrong and always restating

Post by hassansalem »

I configured 2 INT-IP3 on the MGR as follows :-

Shelf address : 0
board address : 17
shelf-Board address : 0-17
interface type :INTIP3A
Board IP address : 192.168.1.160
IP net mask : 255.255.255.0
default gate way address : 192.168.1.254

Shelf address : 0
board address : 24
shelf-Board address : 0-24
interface type :INTIP3A
Board IP address : 192.168.1.161
IP net mask : 255.255.255.0
default gate way address : 192.168.1.254

, I connected serial cable to the console port of both 2 INT-IP3 one of them and issued the command mgconfig , it gives me for the first the crystal number 3 (manual allocation ) and the other Crystal number (dynamic allocation - refer MGR),

I attached the files , it may assist you to solve this problem ,
could you please tell me , how to modify the crystal number ?

i think it can only be configured when intip3 is in cpu-mode (position 6 or 20 in shelf).

Usually for int-ipA (GA) you need:
1 - create int-ipA in any place except 6 and 20
2 - shelf-board-Ethernet parameters (mgr/NMS) - declare IP address, mask, gateway
3 - connect board to Ethernet.
4 - switch on board- wait - check incident on CPU, error on intip board (LEDs flashing)

For int-ipB (GD)
1 - create board
2 - shelf-board-Ethernet parameters - declare MAC address
3 - manage IP parameters on board (mgconfig)
4 - switch on board - wait - check incident on CPU, error on intip board (LEDs flashing)

Thank you for your support , I'd like to add to you that , the concerning PABX is out of box and the data base was created by Alcatel-lucent for both INTIP3 at the mentioned position (0-17 , 0-24) ,As I told you , I connected the console cable to the console port , I noticed its restarting , I deleted both INT-IP3 from MGR , and created them back on MGR and declared IP address , Mask , gateway , moreover , I disconnected (plugged out ) 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection modules from the specific position of the back plane , also , I noticed that it is still restarting ,then I connected the 10/100/1000 connection box ,also it is still restarting , please put into consideration when I was plugged out and replugged it back the PABX was off.

When you plug Ethernet cable from INT-IP - PABX was off - not clear, PABX was restarted himself (or PABX was stopped by you BEFORE connection).
1 - If you have management like in my previous answer
2 - if CPU, INT-IPP - connected by Ethernet cable to switch

1. Show CPU incident when INT-IP try to start
2. Show all output from INT-IP terminal port (from beginning to restart)
3/ Describe CPU LED (INT-IP3) blinking
