Ports to be opened for Remote shelf

Post by sutheeshcb »

Hi,
I have an installation of OXE with Appliance server in the main location and 6 Remote IP media gateways in 6 different locations. In each locations there is IP phones, SIP phones and analog phones. The Remote sites have connectivity with Main location and there is firewall in both sites. There is limited number of ports which are necessary are opened in the firewall. IT department is asking me that which are the ports to be opened for IP telephony in Main and Remote sites.Anybody has idea about this?

Thanks in Advance,
C.B

there is a excel dokument in the ALU businesspartner portal. it includes macro function. you can put your oxe ip equipment in separate locations, press a button and finally the macro will generate a list which port-ranges must be openend.

Actually you can find this file in the system documentation folder.
It is the only one xls file in a \cdrom\content folder.

Thank you all. I found the file and configures ports accordingly in firewall and is working fine.
