Change directory numbers

Post by acamup »

Hi,

I have OXE R11.0. with about 250 extension. Now I have to change directory numbers from 87xxx to 82xxx (I have put 82 instead of 87 in front of each directory number).

How to do it in the easiest way possible? Please tell me the procedure in detail hem.

Do I have to change the system Numbering Plan, or enough to just export and change the numbering directory?

check in translator/numbering plan if 82 is used or not.
better export and import in a lab system. export and import operation can be very time-expensive (depends on how many users have to be converted).

Have done this many times, be careful of supervision keys as well, so if you are supervising extns on sets these numbers will also need to change.

When you export make sure you do everything not just users as i expect the users will want personal keys to stay the same
