Good afternoon,
Currently, I have two analogue access lines which feed an OmniPCX Office Medium unit. Both of these anologue access lines are accepting calls just fine as they should.
However, when I want to divert an incoming call to another external number - the system won't let me. So basically what I want to do is route a call from one analogue access to another.
For example, external call coming in on analogue line to get diverted back out externally (speed dial number) via the other analogue access line when no-one is in the office or at night (for example).
I have checked the joining tables and that is OK and I am pretty sure I haven't missed something in feature design.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Robson

Re: Joining of two analogue access lines
Does this call is been directed to and specific user/set?
If yes, you have to manage user/set,rights. allowing joining incoming-outgoing

Re: Joining of two analogue access lines
Thanks guys, I have managed to connect two external lines now by setting those settings.
I still have a bit of a problem, when the two external anologue lines are "connected" by the PCX either end has a really loud high pitched noise (as if it is feeding back). The feedback noise drowns out the call as soon as two anologue calls are connected together - any ideas what is causing this noise?
Cheers,
Robson

Re: Joining of two analogue access lines
I thinks it is not an PBX issue, I might be something on analogs lines.
I have made this kind of connection seceral times and never have this issue.
Just to be sure I suggest:
1) Use another APA Board on the same slot.
2) Use another APA borad on another slot.
Regards.
