OmniPCX Office Small

Post by michaeld »

Hello Experts!

We sold an older "Alcatel OmniPCX Office (Small) R1.0/r.1. Business" from a Customer.
Now we plan to use them in our Company.

To configure the PCX I think I need the expert-Version of the Software (I have the PM5 easy with User-Password).
Witch Kind of Configuration Software do I need and where can I get it?
Do you now any Way to get or reset the Installer-Password? ;-)

Thank you in advance!

Greetings Michael

Hello,
you can look for the PM5 at Alcatel Business Partner Web Site or from some reseller. It is free.

The problem is your system is too old. OmniPCX Office is at R7 and the configuration software is OMC, that doesn't support OmniPCX Office R1 anymore.

We cannot see what the Installer Password is, the only way is to load the software again with LoLa (complete format) and re-configure the system. Then the Installer Password will be the default one.

Hi,

thank you. With the PM5 Software I can connect now, but the Installer Password is wrong...
I'm not sure that I use the correct default Installer-Password for this Machine (pb****64) ???. It's a German Release...

Can I find a free Documentation to use LoLa?

Thank you in advance.

Greetings Michael.

You can see the help file on LoLa software.
But use the latest LoLa or at least LoLa400 2.1

OK. It got it.

Important is to note the Software-License before...

It is possible to upgrade to an newer Release as R11 with this Hardware?

Thank you!

it is possible to upgrade to latest Release.
You will need to ask for license update too.

But from R1.1, you will need memory replacement (RAM) and probably you will need XMEM or HD.
What exactly do you have:
CPU, CPU-1 ?
HD, XMEM ?

Let me know,
