PBX Interconnect

Post by hnorbi »

Dear Alcatel gurus,

I got 2 alcatel pbx for 'playing'. I'm a quite newbie in alcatel.
One is a common hardware-small, the other is two common harware large cabinet.
Both running 8.0.1 version.

Currently I'm tried in small equipment the following task (in a test environment):
When the user dials 41xx, the call need to be routing to a Cisco router (RTR_A) via ISDN trunk,
when dials 42xx need to route an another trunk.
I played with an OXO a few month ago, and with it I simply do this task.

When I use "ARS Prof.Trg Grp Seiz.with Overlap" for prefix "41", I got a new dial tone, and the user now dials 41xx the dial works (but he dials 41 4102)
It uses he OXE side "ISDN All countries", at the Cisco side "basic-net3" isdn switch settings, The NT devices is the Cisco equipment.

In sysdoc found a procedure, under "Heterogeneous QSIG network":

So I created

TrunkGroup 77 with QSIG signalling, that contains an ISDN port from MIX board (2-1-2)
The BChannel settigns I tried both true and false

The 2-1-2 port uses network mode false (but I tried true)

I created a trunk group 22 with ABC-F. (But why? these not contains ports, and I not shown any reference for TG 77. Or if this TG 22 contains the 2-1-2 port, what need for TG 77?)

In Prefix plan I create :
Number 41
Prefix Meaning: Routing .No.
Network: 2
ABC-F: 22
Digits: 4

In Network Routing Table, Network Number 2:
Protocol Type: QSIG-GF
Dialing Plan Descriptor ID: 11
ARS Route list: 9.

The ARS 9 contains an entry with: 41 -> 77, or 41 -> 22.

I changed the Cisco side to basic-qsig isdn swith type.

Both direction was failed.
The Cisco->OXE direction: Busy
The OXE->Cisco direction: Throtting (Torolódás)

the t3 trace not shown anyting.

What I missed, or how can I accomplish the mission?

The next question about licencing:

The small equipment has the following licence:
19 Corporate netw. (ABC,ABCVPN,ISVPN) = 50

The large equipment:
19 Corporate netw. (ABC,ABCVPN,ISVPN) = 0

So, this routing what I need I can accomplish only in the small equipment?

I can use a soft phone with my system? Where can I download it?
116 ECC My Softphone (4980 Std) = 5000
117 M ECC 4980 Option (4980 Adv) = 0/ 5000

Many-many thanks.

If you route between OXE and CISCO, you can either use SIP or ISDN
Between OXEs, you can do ABC-F. You will need a license. If not, you can use a T1 and make it look like it's the public network between the 2 PBXs.
