Dear all,
I'm facing issue with some IP touch 4038 phones. When the phone is booting up it displays a message "invalid data binary". Can you provide me a procedure for resetting the phone to the factory default settings.
Thanks and Regards

Binary is downloaded from PBX due a release upgrade at pbx maybe? If the firmware is maybe damaged or corrupted. Try do disable the reset after upgrade option on the set. Are these sets over WAN or LAN?

Set type declared and used - the same? May be declared 8038 but used 4038?

Read TC1482 "IpTouch phones are malfunctioning after Software upgrade"
"In case you encounter this issue, the solution consists in the upgrade of the IPTouch version"

Hi All
From what I gathered after having got the invalid binary data on a 4028 set, it requires the bin40x8 file in its tftp directory.
Grateful if anyone could provide this file.
Thanks
