[Resolution]oxe R10.1.1 29b install on HP DL320 gen8

hi~

OXE installing on HP DL320 gen8 . but iLO port using with occur below error.



* loadDeviceDriver(SCSI): 0x1
* failed to open /proc/scsi/scsi: No such file or directory

TC1800 checking sata configuration and com1 port setting checked and server status normal.

why oxe install fail from cause ? server problem ? oxe installation file ?

ps : oxe installation again new file in BPWS. but fail.

this issue resolved

cause HP server mainboard H/W fault.

HP Engineer enter inside then change mainboard.

clear all!!!!

Hello thkim81,

I face the same problem as you and I want to send the server back to the supplier. My problem is that we don't have direct HP, but HP reseller in my country so I might have a problem to prove to them that my problem is their hardware's problem.
How did you specify your problem to HP in order for them to analyze the incident and give you a solution?

Hi gyiasoumas and thkim81,

We are having the same error. Could you please tell us how it was fixed? TC 1800 and 1897 have not been much of help for this issue.

pci probe found 0 SCSI devices

Hi, The issue has been resolved. There is nothing wrong with the hard drive or sata controller. The virtual serial port has to be set to COM1. All this while we had it set to COM2. Also follow the TC 1897 and 1800. The following knowledge base article is also helpful:
