8028 audio not stable in loudspeaker mode

Post by HUSSAINQCS »

I have a problem that when there is a communication between 8028 phones via loudspeaker the audio was not stable on both called and calling party (Raise & low)

Has anybody this similar issue ?

Yes, I had this issue a few weeks ago on the OXO Connect R2.1 and Alcatel created a software patch which has since fixed the issue.
For OXE you will probably need to report to your supplier and/or Alcatel via eSR, I believe they will supply you with a patch, if not immediately then in the next software release.
It seems that the speakerphone is doing some unwanted AGC (Automatic Gain Control), and the problem persists(on OXO ) even when you adjust the system volume levels.

Yes I am having same problem. I am on release 11.2. Alcatel told me to upgrade to latest patch. Did so , soumd improved but still have the issue of sound volume going up and down when on speaker.
