I have a scenario of a network with about 1000 voip phones.
I need to configure QOS for the voip.

The equipment I have are various 9702E, 6450, 6250 and 6248.

I have part of the voice routed to different sites.

You could explain to me which is the best option to apply QOS. DSCP ?, trusted phones options ? others ?

I just need a little the concept to start.

Thanks

Hi,
best way is to have all voip devices in own vlan(s) and a policy at all switches to priorise traffic with this source vlan(s) with DSCP 46.
With this solution I prefere the option "qos no phones" to untrust all others prio and use only my own one.
But also there are a lot of other solutions (f.e. with trust) - but I try always to use the vlan depending prio.
regards
Silvio

Hi Silvio,
We have separated the voip in different vlan(s).

I think the best option would be to configure policies in each switch and prioritize the traffic of these vlans.

Thanks for your help.
