Hi everyone

Looking for your help, I'm facing troubles with login onto ominiswitch 6850 by ssh, every single time I want to open a connection to 6850 by ssh I got the login prompt then I type the user name and enter, I got "Connecton closed by remote host" message.

Is there a way to restart ssh service or reset or something like that?

Telnet is working fine, but I don't use it. I would like to know if there is a way to debug in real time what's wrong with ssh.

Please some one can throw me a bone here?

Hi,
you can try with "no ip service ssh" and "ip service ssh".
If this doesn't help you should reboot your switch....

Hi Silvio,I issued the command no ip service ssh, but is not working. I'll reboot that switch.

Is there a command to view what's the ssh version?

From client side, you can simply go for "ssh -vvv admin@<ipaddr>" and you'll see the version of server/client.
