Hi
How can i see packet drop on port of os6850 ?
Does packet drop is ingress or egress from perspective of the port ?
Thanks
Packet drop on port
Re: Packet drop on port
You can see it at "show interface 1/1".
Lost frame at TX.
Tx = transmit - so egress from the switch port).

What could be the reason that i see on some 1 giga port lost frame at the TX , the uplink of the switch is NNI on port 1/25 - 10 giga port ?

Re: Packet drop on port
I understand that the 1G ports are connected to clients, and there are outgoing packet losts. And for this traffic the incomming port is 10G. Maybe the server sends a big stream to the clients - but the client are not able to handle this lot traffic (f.e. write to HDD). Than you see lost frames at the outgoing ports.
Is this lost-counter still increasing? You can reset it with "interfaces 1/1 no l2 statistics".
And did you see other errors (crc, alignment....)?
