QinQ on 6224

Post by raven22 »

Hi

I need help with configuring QinQ on 6224. On ports 1-24 I have vlans 1101-1124 (vlan per port) access. I need that 6224 attach to packets incoming in ports 1-24 double tag for example 3010, so packets egressing from ports g1-2 will be doubletagged i.e. 3010[1101] and so on. Anybody did this?

If you mean official manual the proposed method don't suits me, because in that case we have tagged packets on clients ports and then using customer vlan command we add one more tag. In my case I have 24 untagged ports with vlans 1101-1124 and I need to have double tagged packets leaving ports g1-2.

it is not possible to make a loop

port e1 to e12 are native

port e13 is tagged dot1q
port e14 is uni

link port e13 to e14 to inject you customer vlan traffic

is what i do on 6850 switch

Thanks for you advice cedric1. I thought about loop. But the number of 6224 is a few thousands, so this solution don't suits. I've made a new schematic using QinQ on my 6850. Even multicast works fine. The theme may be closed.
