Loopback-detection

Hi guys,

I have a scenario where a HP switch is connected to my LS6224 and bring out a loopback in the network.
I have configured with 'loopback-detection enable' but seems that it doesn't work.

My question is:

1. What will happen the port that connected with the HP switch, is the port will be block?
2. What command can be use to show whether the port is block or down, etc.. ?
2. Is there other way (command) to stop looping?
