Hi!

I am trying to configure the first 8118 phone using winpdm. I have checked all TCs and Docs I could find, but i couldn't find the answer to the simple question: Where do i get the templates and parameter files needed for winpdm?

Found it. The parameter definitions are included in the firmware files, which can be downloaded from the business partner site.

I will be very interested to have an answer to that point . very concerned about this on an install actually.

Depending of the image of the phones you has to add the parameter definition file (.pkg) into WinPDM. You have to unzip the phone Software and via File management - Add you search for the pkg-files for 8118 and/or 8128.
Only with the correct pkg-file you can config via WinPDM the phones.
Template is an other point. Templates where used to save offline a config for your installation - you can use template to quick config a lot of phones.

for which phone software you need the pkg-files?

SW Version is 6.0.8 and WLAN Version 3.7.b

Would be great if you have those.

I have tried to upload the files but it didn't work. Did you have access to the business portal? There you can download the firmware package 6.0.8. Within the zip you will find the pkg-files.
If not pls send me an PM.
