Omnivista client Network Discovery

Hello,

I've been trying to install Omnivista 2500 4.1.2.R03 but unfortunately it's not working for me as it should.

When I open the network discovery locally on the machine I get an popup of a java applet to download and run. This works fine. But when I do this from a client I first get an empty page for a few minutes

After this I get

and a progress bar which stays at 30 percent.

Same goes for the other applets. Anyone any suggestion on what I have done wrong or missed?

Check if you have any firewall between the client and the Omnivista server.

Hi Mhunter1993,

I've done some trouble shooting together with Alcatel-Lucent. We found that not only the client initiates a connection to the server but also the server initiating a connection towards the client.

So any firewall's, nat devices or windows firewalls could be a potential issue.

Hopefuly the next version is beter...
