OV 3.5.6 and OmniSwitch 6860

We have just installed OmniSwitch 6860 and it's first 6860 in our network.
We use OV 2500 3.5.6 and I'm trying to setup monitoring but without success.

So, I suspect that this model is not supported by OV 3.5.6. Am I right ?

yes, you need 4.x.
With an update lic from old OV to the new 4.x you have also a lot of new features. The best is that you don't need java anymore.
