Multiple analog sets keep ringing by themselves at night without a wakeup

Post by kleanthis25 »

Hi guys ,

i have a customer (hotel) with a system 4400 R 2.1 . Multiple analog sets ,usually the same rooms, start ringing by themselves at night hours 2am 3am 5am etc and i can't find a solution. i have tried everything . I have changed the cpu , dton , signal units , i even moved some analog cards to a different shelf, disabled messaging , did some changes with grounding but the problem does not go away. I can't think of anything else. please someone help.

My suggestion would be to get them to look at the raw data passed to OXE and see if they are setting wakup calls. What does the customer in the room here when they answer the phone?
Best Regards

i have already spoke to them to check it out and am waiting for an answer. The customers in the rooms said that sometimes they hear the music on hold and sometimes nothing .

I don't know if it is the same but one time I find the same issue in a hotel.
The rooms called always are 1111, 1211, 1112... low numeration
The problem was another extension wich have a bad wiring. Makes contact and dials.

To find it we put a digital phone, and we wait the call registration.
