Web access to OmniPCX Enterprise R11.2

Post by netpc »

I didn't find solution with google searching and OXE telnet interface roaming so started this topic.

It should be very easy, but I cannot find the way how to access OXE via web browser.

Using mgr and netadmin tools I didn't find the way.
Command netstat -a doesn't display http as listening protocol (ftp, telnet, and smtp for example are listed).
In /etc/init.d/ there is no http deamon at all.

So, how to access OXE using http or https protocols?

Due cavagnaro instructions combining a few searched threads from this forum found it under
netadmin (with -m switch) -> 11. Security
Of course you need to do this under root privileges.

Thank you cavagnaro.

What you want from web access? Management - 4760i?
Read about 4760i - you need permit 4760i in management (system/ other system/ system parameters - use 4760i) and restart system.

Or you want from web access something else?

in latest releases you have to use 8770 configuration. and you must have license for this. the 4760i is not available an more. but now you can use the new webadmin no license of configuration needed.
