IP Attendant Console and CID on stations

Post by arp09a »

I maintain an OXE 4400 R10.1.1. When the operator calls an on campus station it only shows "1:" as the caller ID (CID). We want it to show "Operator". I've apparently looked in all the wrong places to see how to change this but with no success. How do you manage the CID coming from the IP Attendant?

Hello, to answer your old question.

I interper that the issue is that when the attendant calls an internal station, the display of the called sets shows no information?

What is needed is to create an "individual attendant prefix" likend to the attendant id.

Translator - prefix plan

┌─Consult/Modify: Prefix Plan────────────────────────────────────────────┐

│ Node Number (reserved) : 6
│ Instance (reserved) : 1
│ Number : 81762

│ Prefix Meaning + Individ.Attendant Call
│ Prefix Information : 62

└───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
Linked to..
┌─Consult/Modify: Attendant Sets──────────────────────────────────────────┐

│ Node Number (reserved) : 6
│ Instance (reserved) : 1
│ Physical Directory No. : 88060202

│ Attendant Id : 62
│ Attendant Group Id : 60

The name displayed
┌─Consult/Modify: Phone Book─────────────────────────────────────────────┐

│ Node Number (reserved) : 6

│ Directory Number

│ Directory Number : 81762
│ Alias No. : 0

│ Directory name : Attendant62

And yes, you need to create one per attendant, and the CLI sent on outgoing call from attendant will be this id.
