delay voice on outgoing calls

Hi All

our system is crystall OXE running R11.0-k1.400-37. We faced delay voice on outgoing calls.

when the call was established , the called user could not hear the voice from calling user for some seconds meanwhile the calling user heard the voice from called user. after some seconds both sites could hear each other.

the problem was happend permanently.

Pls share your solution for this case !

If you have ISDN connection (for analogue trunks can be problem with discriminator) - make t3 trace.
Do you have CONNECT message when called user answer?

i will try to change dialling type on discriminator . Customer using open dialling(255) for all outgoing call. so it may effect by timer 18.

Discriminator rules interesting for analogue line. For ISDN - in usual case we have "answer" signal - message CONNECT.
If you receive message CONNECT with delay (after called user answer) - problem on the far end.
