R11 LOADING ISSUE WITH HP PROLIANT DL120 GEN 9 WITHOUT VMWARE

Hi all!!!

We need help for the correct oxe software loading procedure on an appliance server HP Proliant DL120 GEN9.

Do you know, firstly if this installation is possible?

We really review the compatibilities document, and only see the HP Proliant DL120 GEN7, we are thinking, not problem with that.

We too change some values on the BIOS server like:

- Enable Sata Legacy
- Disable the array controller
- Set the iLO CONFIGURATION for ssh connection (serial port emulation).

On the PC Installer we are tried with some values too:

- Appliance Server.
- Blade Server.
- Company network.
- Direct connect.
- Specific Mac Address.
- Different laptops.

We have still with the same issue:

We are able to obtain the linux.ram packet, but them the server restart without the normal installation process.

1. Strict rules on HW supported
2. If you insist only thing to test is set HD in compatible mode
3. If that doesn't work you are probably out of luck

Gen 9 is in validation phase. done for ICS but not yet OXE.
I found this out as we could not find a supplier of Gen 8 in our country and Alcatel's response was gen9 not yet validated.
we gave in and got the 3 gen 8's from Alcatel (who seem to still have sock).
