OXE loading in SUN VirtualBox

Post by ranlp »

I am trying to load an OXE R9 Blade Server on SUN VitualBox, the loading process it is ok, but when the system boots up, VirtualBox crashes when the Chorus emulation is started on OXE.
Any clues?
As anybody used it?

I am using Virtual Box instead of VMWare because it is free.

vmware player is free, you can create vm's online too using easyvmx.com

Virtual box is nice, but I've had some problems with it.

Which version of VirtualBox are you using? I have version 3.0.4r50677 with OXE version 9.x, and this work fine.

Yes problems like what torrentula? I'm willing to change VMWare by Virtualbox because of costs...but wouldn't like to face problems or add time costs which would be a lost for the moment...

I switched from Virtual Box to VmWare a long time ago.

Like it is said here, the player is free.

Yes but you still need the VMWare to create the image.

Vmware server 1.0.9 is free, also vmware 2.0.
You can create VM like you want, and OXE work fine with vm 1.0.9 (I prefer the release to 2.0).

It's free from more 1 year.
