Thanks for the reply, could you help me with a format and how to get in and do it?
Hi there.
The reason for this is because we are trying to get more aggresive on clients renewing their SLA with us. When the SLA expires the systems carries on working and clients feels no need to pay, so we are looking for something where a change in the system happens that they are then forced to pay for services, when they have no service. I know its drastic, but because we in Africa we need to play "Hard Ball" and make a statement that you dont pay for service, you do have service.
I know that we can write in the cron, but dont know what we should write in the cron so that we can put in a future date, like 12 months from when they sign the SLA the system shuts down. So any help on how to write into cron, would be help full.
Thanks
Pedro

I think its a bit harsh
if they dont pay just delay service. SLA is just service level agrement between you and the customer. It doesn't mean that the site should stop working. The only time to envoke that would be if they lease the equipment off you hand have not paid their lease.

Hi Murray
I understand what you saying and feel the same, but unfortunatey here in Africa if the client still has the service running, he says well why should I pay if it works??? So if we have it switch off after the SLA period, they will require to pay....evil I know...........but it works here in the Horn Of Africa!! LOL
