Hello Reinoud,
thanks for your reply,
Does it have any problem to connect to asterisk or that you just didn't need to connect it to asterisk?
if it doesn't have problem for connecting to asterisk, I need your help for fixing my sets. Is it possible to contact you in person? (email, phone or ...?)

Hello,
What is the difference between "3GV26054AB" and "3GV27064TB"?
(both are Alcatel 4008 EE)

Re: 4XX8EE Phones with Asterisk
I have no idea... I don't work for and with Alcatel-Lucent anymore for quite some time now, and I don't have access to this info.
Re: 4XX8EE Phones with Asterisk
Good morning all,
I have succesfully setup a number of 4008 and 4018 phones to work with 3CX.
The issue i am having is setting the buttons for Transfer etc.
Any ideas on this?
please find my sample config (thanks Reinoud)

Re: 4XX8EE Phones with Asterisk
Transfer has to be done as follows:
Maybe you should capture network traffic with wireshark and see what happens...
Kind regards,
Reinoud

Not everything may be supported by your switch, my fritz box doesn't like transfer if 3rd party hasn't answered yet...Maybe you should capture network traffic with wireshark and see what happens...

Do you use DHCP or static IP configuration?
Re: 4XX8EE Phones with Asterisk
Hi, not sure if this thread is still active but here it goes:
I read the whole thread but I'm stuck on the first part which is to download the SIP binaries to my Alcatel 4008 set and change the mode from NOE to SIP. I reset it using i+1+2+3 and connected to telnet, then typed "dwl go sipc". The problem is that the set is only requesting files noe4008 , not noesip4008. I tried to trick it by renaming the binary file accordingly but the phone just hangs and reboots.
Even if I try to change the phone mode manually from the set screen i.e. Soft Opts > Run Mode, it doesn't let me choose any other option apart from NOE.
N.B. The NOE version is 3.91.90.
Do you have any clue what's happening?
