Public call not reaching elastix

We have one OXO R.5 connected to elastix through sip. OXO has one E1 and some analog lines to connect to providers.
The E1 provider range is 02229000-9150. I manage installation number so every user gets its own extension on oxo.
We need two of these extensions (9109-9110) to be elastix extensions so I did:
Internal numbering
Subscriber 9000-9108 base 9000
Secondary trunk group 9109 -9110 base ars nmt keep priv yes
Subscriber 9111-9150 base 9111
Public numbering same as internal.
Private numbering:
Subscriber 9000-9150
Oxo and elastix extension communicate with no problem so I know I mange ARS correctly.
Also when I dial toward the provider from elastix extension 9110 I get 02229110 on mobile same for 9109.
Problem is when I dial from mobile 02229110 toward E1 of OXO the call goes to the OXO attendant and in attendants screen it looks something like this 02229110<-02229110.
However if I route one of the analog line of provider to 9110 it reaches elastix correctly.
Also if I dial from mobile any other extension of OXO ex 02229010 it reaches the extension 9010.
Now that I’m writing this I noticed that maybe the private numbering is not correct and the call comes back to OXO however since I have very limited time to access the site, any feedback would be appreciated.

Check the canonical format used for your SIP trunk. Also check your private numbering plan (for *-->OXO-->PSTN).
Use SIP traces to check the outcome.

Thanks for your replay.
Where do i check the canonical format? In recent release i think is under gateway parameters in automatic route selection, but this is release 5 so it is not there.
Calls from *-->OXO-->PSTN work OK because i already configured private to match internal.
PSTN->OXO->* calls are going to attendant. I tried different things and i noticed that in external lines-incoming call handling under public calls other cases, if i switch from attendant to release the call gets released rather than going to attendant.
So far Sip shows no activity when i do PSTN->OXO->*
