Has anyone tried installing an OXE 12- m1403 on a VMware Workstation?

I'm very new to Alcatel Lucent and I'm trying to build my lab here at home and I'm really glad to hear that you have an OXE running on your VMWare 12.

I have a VMWare Workstation 12 with a clean Windows 7 installed. I already had my firewall & windows defender off and no antivirus/antispyware or anything like that running, but I'm having an issue with FTP (FTP Login failed). My filezilla is turned off too.

I've wiped the old config thinking that I had bad install so I built a new Windows 7 and installed PC Installer but I still get the same FTP login failure.

I've attached the screenshot.

Any thoughts?

I used PC Installer to install a new OXE on my VMWare Workstation. See attached screenshot.

If someone out there has successfully configured an OXE (R.12-m4103) on a VMWare Workstation 12 on a Windows 7, can you show us?
I just want to know if it really work or it is not compatible.

hi Snonay,

in order to install OXE ion VMware, you must disable anti-virus and firewall from your PC. Your VMware machine must share the same physical interface with your PC. load OXE Iso with demon tools on Win7, them you should run PC Installer, and select to install Linux + Call Handling, select the right Eth interface at PC installer. And the just start the VM (with linux redhat preset) to boot from Ethernet.
