Hi Guys, we are a registered Alcatel-Lucent Reseller in Australia and have had our purchasing account closed by the only distributor in Australia VExpress due to in their words inappropriate language in a email we sent in a dispute about their pricing amongst other things, we are all okay with Alcatel-Lucent themselves but as VExpress is the only distributor in Australia and Alcatel-Lucent Australia are not in a position to appoint a second distributor we are currently having issues sourcing software and new ME's and handsets so we are looking for a supplier who can process our Actis upgrades and supply PowerCpu's and other sundries, the supplier does not have to be in Australia , based on the freight component we would have to bulk buy from a overseas supplier but of course software is a email attachment.

hi, have you tried some of the local OXE suppliers? VOIP, netip, UXC etc...

Hi Murray, we have a local friendly competitor who has supplied some emergency stuff but when VEexpress found that they were items and software for our company things went pear shape.
As for VOIP they share some of the same directors as VExpress and also share some of the same buildings and one of our gripes is a observation that our clients were being cold called by VOIP sales people....have been told that VE support techs wear a VOIP hat as well....
i do understand that another distributor is being organised for early next year but unfortunately that does not help us with the dozen or so sales and upgrades that we have to implement by Christmas...just looking at signing up with NEC so some of them will have to become NEC sales

Sorry to hear you have a bad experience with some partner, happens on all businesses. Nobody wants that but maybe you can contact another BP or just ask Alcatel for another BP and they will talk to this one and shake them and if you insist will move you to another.
