OXE CPU switch-over

Post by gilcsr »

Hello
just a question...
is it normal that during a cpu switch-over (bascul main xa to xb) all the DECT communications are lost ?
only the IP or Analogic communications are maintained
the redundancy is ok
sorry for my english...
thanks for your answers

No, it is not normal, all the communications must be as they are, only the calls that are being placed or in routing mode get disconnected. Calls already established must remain as in their state before bascul.

Maybe there is bug in the patch.

I think - your DECT sinchronized from CPU. And in this case during switch-over - DECT network reinitalized and all communication lost (the same problem can be with ABC-F calls)

You need two DECT8_SYNC boards to have a seamless clock.
