Interaction with OXE via CLI/MGR Scripting/TSAPI/TAPI

Post by caspion »

Hi all,

I am developing an application to send commands to obtain current system settings or to modify them. I want to use CLI or Mgr Scripting.
For example, I want to see a list of users and their extensions. And then if needed I will send a command to block outgoing of any user/extension. Is there a way to do it with CLI/Mgr Scripting or I need to use TSAPI/TAPI for this?
Please suggest me step-by-step guide for using CLI/Mgr Scripting for simple tasks.

I also want to obtain Network status, Alarms, hard reset alarms, soft reset alarms etc.

I am new to this forum. A helpful information is really appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi,

This isn't really possible via this of scripting. At least not official possible.
There's a (limited) REST API in the omnivsta 8770. And also on the plain R12 release, even if it's not official available for 3rd party apps (as far as I know) and therefore no documentation.

Alarms are only accessible on omnivista or snmp.
